Histamine Intolerance and Stress

The effects of histamine intolerance make dealing with stress extremely challenging.

This can have a significant impact on how you feel both mentally and physically, as research has found that histamine issues have all sorts of mental and brain impacts.

For example; “dysfunction of the histamine system may underlie some forms of apathy”, and “a potentially critical player in the pathology of depression, histamine”.

In fact, there are numerous studies that reference mental energy, the brain, motivation and histamine, and yet, this is the connection that people often miss.

In other words: the symptoms themselves make it even harder to retain a positive outlook (which is hard enough already in these challenging times)

How do you look after yourself in a period of high stress, specifically relating to histamine intolerance? I think the first step is simply acknowledging that the symptoms themselves can have an impact.
