Low Histamine Bolognese
This low histamine bolognese mouth explosion is completely veggie and owes its bright colour to the presence of some absolutely delicious beets.
I serve it with zoodles - also low histamine.
Every ingredient is low histamine apart from the onion (which you can leave out if you like and many tolerate very well), and every ingredient is labeled for histamine intolerance as per the food list.
Medium carrot, finely chopped ✅
Cauliflower, mini florets ✅
Small red sweet pepper (optional) ✅
Beet puree ✅
Coconut milk ✅
Olive oil ✅
Small onion 🤔 (usually well tolerated)
Salt ✅
Celery, finely chopped ✅
Rosemary ✅
Thyme (optional) ✅
Oregano (optional) ✅
