Stress and Histamine Intolerance
Stress and histamine intolerance are inextricably linked.
Dr. Ben Lynch talks about this a lot on his site, and it’s very relevant for me. I can tell with my HRV stats improving so rapidly after a few days off too. I know that dealing with stress and relaxing more is probably the most effective way of dealing with my histamine intolerance.
I find one of the best ways to destress is to:
a) go on holiday (not exactly possible right now) or
b) go for a long walk in nature.
Here’s a pic from last summer, on a walk in nature on holiday in Greece.
We walked for hours through woods and fields, and then saw this old windmill. Then we had a slap-up picnic in the sun.
That’s a good, de-stressing day right there, and in the middle of a winter lockdown seems a long way away right now.
