Low-Histamine Kitchen Essentials
Want to stock up your kitchen with some great low-histamine foods? Here are some of my personal faves!
Fresh meat (not aged, freeze for extra freshness)
Frozen fish (frozen at sea only - use a company like SeaFresh)
Fresh fruit (blueberries and apples are my fave)
Fresh veggies (the list is endless; celery, rocket, radishes, lettuce, potato, sweet potato...)
Other bits (flaxseed, rice, extra virgin olive oil, juices, coconut milk)
Remember, organic is always best if you can afford it! (I know to my cost how expensive this is though)
Don't forget to check for any foods that may trigger your symptoms and always test carefully. Happy shopping!
