Many people wonder if pumpkin seeds are high in histamine or if it is low histamine.

Personally, I find that I sometimes react to pumpkin seeds, and sometimes I don’t. Which isn’t really very helpful is it, but that’s the truth! Lots of foods I’m fine with, but the jury is out on pumpkin seeds.

That’s why it’s so important to reduce your overall histamine levels (or bucket). Work on lowering that histamine bucket, and then give them a go. Remember…

  • Test carefully!

  • Lower your histamine levels in other areas to help your tolerance.
