Low-Histamine Nomato Sauce
Nomato sauce ✅ is like tomato sauce but low-histamine - without the tomatoes.
I love making my own pizzas and was looking for something I could use for a pizza base, as well as on the side of dishes like a normal tomato sauce.
I googled a few nomato sauce recipes but didn’t have all the ingredients. So I used beetroot, carrot, garlic and stock. I cooked the veggies, then blended it all up with a bit of pumpkin puree (some may react to this if it is canned, i guess you could miss this step) and some oregano and that was the result. At the end I put in a tiny bit of ACV too.
