This is a weird one. I’ve been wondering whether reacting to capsule shells is connected to histamine intolerance. I don't think I react to them. At least I don't think I do.

But there is one brand (Pure Encapsulations - a very reputable brand), that every time I take their products I feel rubbish. Not straight away. It's the next day.

It may be absolutely nothing to do with that brand. After all, it is a very good brand I'm told. But something is going on... is it something in their capsules that is causing me to react?

It seems that I’m not alone. Some of my followers on Instagram react to capsule shells too. One follower on Instagram even suggested removing the capsule before taking the supplement. That way, we can test to see if it is the capsule that’s causing the reaction.
