More on the Histamine Intolerance Diet
Using the SIGHI scale, I’ve created what I believe is an easy to use resource you can consult at any time. And watch out for….
Foods that have vinegar. (Apple Cider Vinegar might be okay) 🔴
Fermented foods and beverages, including alcoholic drinks. 🔴
Cured meats. 🔴
Soured foods. 🔴
Dried fruits. 🔴
Smoked fish. Should only be fresh from the water or freezer. 🔴
Most of the citrus fruits. 🔴
Nuts. Put special emphasis on peanuts and walnuts. 🔴
Aged cheese. In fact all cheese.🔴
Leftovers. (Unless frozen straightaway.)🔴
Eggs (for some people – particularly egg whites) 🤔
Alcohol🔴
Avocado🔴
Chocolate 🔴
Cow’s milk🔴
Bananas🔴
Nuts 🤔(some lists say some nuts okay)
