Has anyone else suffered a reaction to jewellery?
I got married last month, and having never worn a ring before I’m now wearing this gold band.

But it’s brought my skin out in hives, big time. I can’t believe it.
It took me this long to get married, and now I’m struggling to wear the ring!

Apparently this is quite common if you are histamine intolerant and it is because of the nickel that the gold is mixed with. Other options include platinum or stainless steel which are hypoallergenic, or I could try getting this ring ‘dipped’ in platinum.

If you are suffering from skin problems, definitely look at the jewellery you are wearing. When I took the ring off, the symptoms get better almost instantly. So it must the the ring.
